Getting your website listed on the first page of the search engines is all about link popularity and how many one way links you have pointing to your website. Linkvana is a linking service that makes it so easy to increase the link popularity of your site that it should be banned.

But as with everything else I do in my business, I wanted to test it our first on some new domains. I didn't want to use existing domains in case in resulted in the sites being banned from the search engines. So I registered 5 new domains, installed Wordpress on each of them, selected 5 of my favorite niches and ordered a bunch of articles for each site.
Once built, I started using Linkvana to promote the sites using a mixture high and low competition keywords for each niche. The reason I went for both high and low competition was to see how well Linkvana worked for the more competitive keywords as well as the "low hanging fruit" of long tail keywords.
I created a bunch of links for each site, then left them alone for a month to see what would happen.
One of the really neat features of Linkvana is that it will add the links to your sites gradually over time, which makes it look a lot more natural to the search engines. If a new site suddenly gets hundreds of links in a short space of time, it smacks of "automated submissions" and the search engines are well aware of natural "human managed" link patterns, and anything that looks "non human" can result in your site being "sandboxed" - which means you site disappears from the rankings for several months - effectively wasting all that work you just did. So to increase link popularity for your sites, making your link building pattern look natural is vital to success.
When I came back to check my new sites, I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. All 5 domains were fully indexed in Google, and each had the home page indexed in Yahoo and MSN (which was a bonus as I don't normally expect to see much from those guys for a few months). The sites were also getting some decent traffic. So, my test of Linkvana proved to me that it is everything it has been promised to be, and probably quite a bit more as well, and knowing the owner, he's not one to over hype his business or services, so I'm very happy with my investment.
